Credio

A software-based digital notebook application for recording account balances and documenting financial interactions between business owners and their customers.

1. Purpose of the Service

Credio is a mobile software application designed for the structured recording of customer account balances. It enables business owners to document financial transactions in a transparent and traceable manner and allows customers to view their own account information.

Credio is not a bank, payment processor, or money manager, and does not store, transfer, or protect money. The application serves solely as a digital documentation tool. All financial transactions recorded in the system are manual entries made by the respective account holder and do not reflect automated payment processing.

2. How the Service Works

Owner Accounts

An owner registers in the application and, after verification and approval, gains access to a private dashboard. In this dashboard, the owner can create individual customer profiles by entering identifying information such as name, phone number, and email address. For each customer, the system automatically generates an account structure that is used exclusively for documenting the account balance.

The account owner can manually record financial transactions as credits or debits. Each entry contains an amount, a description, and a timestamp. The system automatically recalculates the customer's account balance based on the cumulative transaction history. The application does not independently verify the accuracy of the entries; responsibility for accuracy lies entirely with the account owner.

Owners can also activate or deactivate customer access, generate access codes for initial login, and manage language and security settings for the account. Optional two-factor authentication and device recognition mechanisms are used to increase account security.

Customer Accounts

A customer account is created exclusively by the owner. Customers cannot register themselves. After receiving an access code from the owner, the customer activates the account, sets a password, and gains access to a personal dashboard.

In this dashboard, the customer can view the current account balance and review the entire transaction history of their account. Customers have read-only access to financial data and cannot create, edit, or delete transaction entries.

Customers can update their personal security settings, manage their preferred language, and use the integrated messaging features to communicate with the owner. The application ensures that each customer can only access their own account data.

All balances displayed in the application are calculated values derived from manually entered entries. The service does not connect to external banking systems, perform financial transfers, or represent any financial institution.

3. Security and Access Control

Access to the application requires authentication via email and password. Owners may be required to perform two-factor authentication when logging in. Trusted device mechanisms may be used to simplify subsequent logins on recognized devices.

Account deletion, password resets, and language settings are managed through secure backend API processes. All authentication tokens are time-limited and are used exclusively for session management within the software application.

4. Technical Structure

Credio functions as a mobile software application connected to a dedicated API backend. It is not a public web-based banking platform. The publicly accessible website only provides informational and legal documents and does not offer any account functions.
