Credio

A software-based digital notebook application for recording account balances and documenting financial interactions between business owners and their customers.

Purpose of the Service

Credio is a mobile software application designed for structured record-keeping of customer account balances. It allows business owners to document financial entries in a transparent and traceable way and enables customers to view their own account information.

Credio is not a bank, not a payment processor, and does not handle, store, transfer, or safeguard money. The application functions exclusively as a digital documentation tool. All financial transactions recorded within the system represent manual entries made by the respective account owner and do not reflect automated payment processing.

How the Service Works

Owner Accounts

An Owner registers within the application and, after verification and approval, receives access to a private dashboard. Within this dashboard, the Owner can create individual customer profiles by entering identifying information such as name, phone number, and email address. For each customer, the system automatically generates an account structure used solely for balance documentation.

The Owner may manually record financial entries classified as credit or debit transactions. Each entry includes an amount, a description, and a timestamp. The system automatically recalculates the customer’s balance based on the cumulative transaction history. The application does not independently verify the correctness of any entry; responsibility for accuracy remains entirely with the Owner.

Owners may also activate or deactivate customer access, generate access codes for first-time login, and manage language preferences and account security settings. Optional two-factor authentication and device recognition mechanisms are used to enhance account security.

Customer Accounts

A Customer account is created exclusively by an Owner. Customers cannot self-register. After receiving an access code from the Owner, the Customer activates the account, sets a password, and gains access to a personal dashboard.

Within the dashboard, the Customer can view the current outstanding balance and review the full transaction history associated with their account. Customers have read-only access to financial records and cannot create, edit, or delete transaction entries.

Customers may update personal security settings, manage their preferred language, and use built-in messaging features to communicate with the Owner. The application ensures that each Customer can access only their own account data.

All balances displayed in the application are calculated values derived from manually recorded entries. The Service does not connect to external banking systems, does not execute financial transfers, and does not represent a financial institution.

Security and Access Control

Access to the application requires authentication through email and password. Owners may be required to complete two-factor authentication during login. Trusted device mechanisms can be used to simplify subsequent logins on recognized devices.

Account deletion, password resets, and language preferences are managed through secured backend API processes. All authentication tokens are time-limited and are used solely for session management within the software application.

Technical Structure

Credio operates as a mobile software application connected to a dedicated API backend. It is not a public web-based banking platform. The publicly accessible website provides informational and legal documentation only and does not provide account functionality.
